ABOUT ME

Hello fellow surfers! My name is Mari and I am a Bay Area native , I grew up for most of my life in Berkeley, Ca.(true hippie kid at heart). I moved to Northern CA. (Sacramento Valley) when I got married. Since my hubby is active duty in the USAF and deploys once a year or so I find myself traveling alone sometimes and would love to meet and make new friends on CS. I am an avid Bay Area Sports fan and love taking my new friends to watch my teams play. I am currently a full time nursing student in hopes to finish my BSRN in 2017. I love helping my community, my husband and I regularly work our local charities on projects with veterans and their families.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Rookie on CS, but we love having our friends and family at our home. We have hosted a number of our friends at our home when they were transferring/deploying out of country.

I live to engage my senses! I love cooking, I grew up in a family owned Peruvian restaurant. I love swapping recipes and trying new foods. I have a been a photographer by hobby since high school and I love snapping shots.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Trying out CS for the first time, it truly was amazing! I met wonderful people that are now my closest of friends. I have traveled with them and met some in their home towns.

I am bilingual in Spanish (my family is Peruvian) and am more then happy to help my fellow surfers in learning. I am currently reactivating my interest in learning French. I love to cook/eat and am always looking to swap recipes, tips and tricks.
