About Me

Hello, fellow travelers! My name is Mariia, and I’m excited to be a part of the CS community. I study business analysis at university and graphic design for myself.

please remember that CouchSurfing is not a dating platform and I’m not looking for this as well

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that traveling is not just about ticking off places on a bucket list, but about immersing oneself in the local culture and making meaningful connections.
As I started to do my solo trips, CS really helps not to feel loneliness, meet great people to share my emotions and spend genuinely good time with. I’ve realized that it’s not so easy to travel alone and not to talk to anyone. And of course I think that meeting local people is the easiest way to get to know a country and its habits.

Teach, Learn, Share

“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
Albert Einstein

life should be filled with emotions so that there is no sense of its meaninglessness

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a surfer, I understand the importance of being respectful, tidy, and communicative. I know that staying in someone else's home is a privilege, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to experience a new place through a local's eyes. I'm happy to contribute to household chores, cook a meal together, or simply have a conversation over a cup of tea. My hope is that we can learn from each other, share stories and experiences, and make lasting memories.
