About Me
Hi!
I'm Marichka. This year I've become a volunteer in Estonia, I work in the Youth Center here. Generally, I'm a student of Economic University on Faculty of Finance. Talking about me, I used to be a folk dancer for 17 years, took part in different folk festivals around Europe. And participation in these festivals showed me how how beautiful the world is. So, I fell in love with traveling.
Being a student without a scholarship in Europe is a bit expensive, but my desire to travel is bigger than end up without money)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's gonna be my last year at th euniversity, and unfortunately it will be online. So, I think to spend this time more efficiently and to start traveling as much as possible. Experience as a volunteer and living in a foreign for me country showed me, that there are a lot of people, who ready to help. This possibility to meet new people, to share experience and time is limitless. That's why I decided to discover this world with couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Thanks to my dad and his influence, I'm a fan of rock music. My favourite bands are Bring Me The Horizon and Electric Callboy. But at the same time I'm Eurovision fan, so sometimes I have "Cha Cha Cha" mood. Fun fact, my volunteering apartment is located in the building of a local music studio. Now my days are full of different styles and artists, but it's cool to have "private" concerts every day.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Decided to go as a volunteer to RuisRock festival, just because it was the same dates as my vacation at work. I lived in another country, didn't know Finnish language and didn't know most of the artists. But the experience was amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm ready to learn everything about the country, it's culture, food and people. About teaching: as a youth worker, who has taken part in lots of various work shops, I think I can find something new for everyone (probably ha-ha). And of course, I can share my experience, my knowledge about Ukraine and it's culture. Also, we can learn some folk dances (I know not only Ukrainian dances).
What I Can Share with Hosts
According to Estonian youngsters and my foreign friends, the best thing what I can share is food. For example, we can cook some Ukrainian dishes and make a cultural evening)
Countries I’ve Visited
