I am PhD student, at the moment living in Maribor in Slovenia. I was born, raised and educated in Slavonski Brod in city located in eastern part of Croatia.
Until now I have visited Germany , Hungary, Bosnia and Serbia. I did not have possibility to travel more when I was younger, so I would like to start my journey when I will have more time (if studies will permit :)). It would be nice, if I go somewhere, to meet someone local. Although it would be nice if I get a host, but at the moment I wouldn't be able to be one because I am living in a dormitory. I would be happy to meet up with someone in order to show the city or to drink/eat something. :)
In my free time I like to relax, listen to music and i like to cook (skills are improving slowly, I am not a professional :)). I enjoy taking pictures (of nature) with my phone.
I would like to learn different languages, to learn more about other cultures. At the moment, besides English and Croatian (Serbian/Bosnian), I know elementary of German, I understand a bit of Spanish. I would like to improve knowledge in languages.
I believe there is a reason where we are born and what we do in our life. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet new people, hear about other cultures from local people, it might give completely different side of story than one given from media :).

Music, Movies, and Books

I like variety in music. I do not have some specific genre that I like to listen. Mostly on my playlists are some ballads from different parts of the world or (rhythmic) songs originated from Africa.
I would not have anything against some interesting recommendation. :)
And when it comes to Movies/Series, it is hard to decide for only one. Mostly i watch thrillers, crimes, drama.
