Hello!

My name is Marije, I am a Dutch student with a room in The Hague at Leiden University. I love eating good food, going to cafes to spend too much money on delicious coffee and to watch people live their daily lives #creeper. Besides that, I enjoy (going to) theatre, playing lacrosse, volunteering for the Red Cross and doing lots of fun stuff with my friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A great passion of mine is, I guess we all have it in common here, traveling. The best thing about it is getting in touch with the people that live in a certain area, as they know a lot about the culture and dos and don'ts of a place. Traveling as a student is not always possible due to the regular money struggles a student faces, but being with people that can show you the most affordable and interesting places makes it that much more fun! Being new on this couch surfing community makes me excited to offer people a couch and tell them about The Hague as well as finding out about other places in which hospitality allows people to travel and explore!
