Hello! My name is Marije, born and raised in the Netherlands but travelling since I can remember. I'm not the most outgoing of girls, but with the right company I can be chatty and silly and I really love these moments.
I work in a child day care center on a group for 2-4 year olds.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mostly for surfing at the moment, since our living situation (small one bedroom apartment) doesn't really permit a lot of hosting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like to be overwhelmed by stuff, wonders of nature especially. So climbing the Rocky Mountains was one of the most amazing things I've done.
Also skydiving.. still can't believe I actually did that!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well ehm... don't ask me about the meaning of life or the purpose of meaning, but if you want to know how to discipline your troublesome kid, I'm your woman. Also, come to me with all your movie questions.

I like to learn anything. From the origin of the universe to why ants always follow the same route.
Oh and at the moment I want to learn Italian.

Under the right circumstances I enjoy getting a little philosophical.
