I'm here to spread the good word - Americans aren't all crazy. Some of us just want to travel courteously, make new friends, and share a little bit of what matters to us with those we meet.

I also think it is great to be a part of a system run on cross-cultural generosity.

I also love coming to new places and trying not to get lost. Navigating in foreign cities is one of my favorite activities. Luckily, there are a lot of places I haven't done this yet. I like to make art about this sort of thing -- maps, place-relationships.

Big Harry Potter fan, as the books came out right about the time I was learning to read. Mostly I love unabashed fantasy of all shapes and sizes; crummy action/adventure movies are extremely welcome.

Music: love jazz, fonk. Right now I'm really into Olafur Arnalds, Snarky Puppy, and The Books.
