I'm a 19 year old girl from the Netherlands, and I am currently enjoying my Gap Year in NZ (and later on Australia and Vietnam), before I start studying at the University of Amsterdam!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think staying in local people's houses gives me a unique opportunity to experience the lifestyle of the country I'm visiting, which is harder to find when staying in a hostel with all other non native backpackers. I also love to meet new people and maybe later return the favour when anyone ever finds him/herself in the Netherlands.
