Overview
About Me
Time flies like an arrow, fruitflies like a banana.
I don't like quotations, yet this one describes me quite accurately. I'm always in short with time to do all the things that interest me. Though i don't like to rush, so usually i get on the next train.
I'm an introvert person, though i shouldn't be dared into something stupid as i usually respond. So you could find me fishing for coins in a well in the middle of night, skinnydipping in the canal or chalking on the pavement. But only every once in a while. I like good food, so i like to cook. I live on music, so i collect a lot. I'm an artist, run an artspace with two friends, work as a mudflat guide on Waddensea during summer and recently started a course in bee keeping. So I like nature, and like to learn about the birds and bees. I'm a collector of all kinds of stuff i find on the streets, flea markets, etc. Usually broken stuff in need of a fix which i rarely do. I'm fascinated with futile facts, or did-you-know's.
PHILOSOPHY
I live because i was born one day, and refused to die so far. I can be quite serious and principal, but I'm no activist nor a Buddhist. I like to create, but am very aware of the joy to break some stuff every now and then. Life can be quite funny, you just need to observe the people around for a bit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I generally like the idea of hospitality, of sharing, of living in a different world then the consumerism machinery.

Music, Movies, and Books
music - I'm a fierce collector of all kinds of reggae, blues, jazz (vinyl), folk from wherever, punk, hardcore, balkan (beats or folk), triphop-ish, swing, post-punk. Especially if i can't find it in a regular musicstore, nor a specialist one.
movies - Depends on my mood and download folder.
books - Ivo Andric, George Orwell, Condé, Hesse, and loads more. Though i don't enjoy Kafka that much.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jumping off a waterfall est. 8 meter high in Mreznica, Croatia. Though living in Zagreb (Croatia) in general was one amazing experience, having a gig with my former hardcore punk band in Liverpool was quite memorable, Hitchhiking across Europe on my own was packed with good and bad experiences. Watching my one day old niece falling asleep while lying in my arms must've been the best so far though (corny but true).
Teach, Learn, Share
How to contribute? Share visions on the world, life, history, food, music, the future. I'm always eager for some secret family recipes, and i'm a fairly decent cook myself. I can draw a portrait though that's not my strongest skill, i can help writing a theatre play, leave a good memory or be a handyman (though im not a carpenter at all). I know some fun facts about marine life
What I Can Share with Hosts
