After taking a year off to travel in Nepal and North America, I'm settling down in Montreal to start a PhD.

PHILOSOPHY

Mostly I live life doing things that I enjoy, having fun and making the most of whatever comes my way. I also try to make that feeling contagious. :)

Books: I read both fiction and non-fiction. Favorites include Notre-Dame de Paris, Cien Años de Soledad, Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Midnight's Children, and books by Stephen Jay Gould and Jared Diamond.

I climbed up an active volcano in Guatemala, back in 2006, glowing red lava and everything... it was pretty impressive!

I'm a native French speaker so I can help anyone who wants to learn it, and I'm a semi-decent cook (not so great at the vegan stuff though). I'm really keen to practice my Spanish (it's decent but I'm really out of practice).
