I am a musician working on a master's degree in Montreal, travelling while playing shows/teaching, and freelancing as a journalist for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. I lived in Toronto, Boston, and then New York before going back to school in MTL :)

I mostly play jazz bass, but am occasionally involved in more pop/rock oriented stuff, and write my own music. Otherwise, I like to cook and stay active - running, yoga, swimming, or whatever is available (my profile picture was taken after sea kayaking)!

I'm a pretty low key person that just enjoys learning and hearing people's stories. I like to try local beers/wines, see local sights, art and hole in the wall restaurants/cafes. Food is life! Everywhere is better with a host, but I'm also totally cool wandering on my own and would have no expectations of my host.

I am often on the go with all my freelance projects, and don't need much except a clean, peaceful place to lay my head. I love my work because it allows me to meet new people all the time, and I love making memories.

Graduated on a full scholarship from Berklee (my dream school), surfed at Rincon in Carpinteria (a big deal for a Canadian kid), produced and scored a short documentary in 10 days, met Clint Eastwood and Quincy Jones in the same night!
