ABOUT ME

I am from a small town in NSW called Casino. I lived there till I was 18 then moved to Brisbane. I studied Business majoring in Hotel Management/Human Resources at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. While I was at uni I had the opportunity to do an internship in Seoul, Korea. I applied and got it. I spent 3 months working at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel in Seoul. Had the time of my life there. I returned to Oz finished my degree and worked for 3.5 yrs at Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast in Conference & Events. One day, I decided I needed some change in my life so I did a TESOL course and ended up living in Korea for 3.5 yrs as en English Teacher. The decision to go abroad and teach was the best one I have made in my life. I had an ABSOLUTE BLAST living and working in Korea. Korea is my second HOME. I will definitely live there again. I am traveling Europe for 6 months at the moment. This has been my goal for a few years so to actually be doing it is amazing. I plan to travel then head home to study to be a Primary Teacher.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I told a mate of mine about this website. From that day he has constantly hosted people in Korea. I was lucky enough to meet many of his couch surfers when he took them out in Seoul. We all lived in Korea so it was great to be able to show visitors why we loved it so much!! Being able to help the couch surfers experience Korean culture was FUN!

Interests

I LOVE cooking, playing sports, learning new things, meeting new people, being outdoors and visiting new places. My favourite things to do are being outdoors and hosting dinner parties!! Enjoying time in the sun or at home with my friends over good food and a bottle of wine makes me really HAPPY!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to any music. I love watching movies (feel it is totally relaxing). I like to read books but don't read enough.
