Travelling as often as possible. Usually within Europe. Love historical places and vast landscapes. In 2012 I travelled through Eastern and Southern Africa with my sister. Lived in Holland 2008-2009, in Greece 2010 and then Holland again 2011. Live in Uppsala.

I have to try everything before I can settle. And the perfect way to get new experiences is by traveling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I´m a traveller myself; helping each other out is perfect. To let someone sleep on my couch is not that big of a deal, but for a traveller it's great.
I´m here to create networks and help out fellow travellers to find a place to stay when they visit my city and of course get a great CS experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosting and surfing since 2008 and met loads of awesome people. I've been to some cool CS parties and events and I always have a great time. The best ones are in Maastricht during Carnaval of course.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow, impossible to pick one, but I believe it was when I went on my first safari in Tsavo West, Kenya and we drove up on a cliff to watch the sun set over Kilimanjaro while herds of elephants marched below us. It was a surreal feeling.

Teach, Learn, Share

When I was younger I always went to the biggest tourism areas. The only people I met was tourists and local people speaking your language. I highly dislike that. Now I'm visiting small unknown places to see their culture and life. A capital is always more international than other cities, so I aim to get another point of view when I travel.
I recommended you all to try to see the destination beneath the surface. Don't limit your ways of exploring the world due to the opinions of others or prejudices. You can't know, what you haven't experienced.
