Über mich
I'm a student in Community psychology from Quebec (after many years of travelling and working around).
I took time off of my studies and ''normal'' life to travel and live differently. I started travelling in May 2016 and there's still so much I want to do and see! I travel mainly by hitchhiking, camping and like to get involved in projects that inspire me (using workaway, au pair, people I meet).
I love to meet new people, learn new languages and be inspired and learn from other people.
On a more personal note, I am very eco-conscious and therefore, I am vegan and try to reduce the waste I produce as much as possible. I like to live simple and have meaningful conversations with the people I meet.
I'm interested in environnement, politics and cultural studies, like the concept of gender. I'm also a feminist, Queer and non-binary . My work is centered on anticolonialism and antiracism aka white supremacy.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
I love couchsurfing and it changed my life while travelling, I want to offer the same thing to other people. I think this is one of the things that gives me faith on humanity again :)
// I'd rather live like a local than travel like a tourist. I think meeting local people and getting to know the culture (as similar or as different as it is), the places, the language through the people you meet is one of the great parts of travelling.
Every experience we had with Couchsurfing led to amazing experiences and friendships, and when you're travelling for years, it's more than great, it's necessary!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
Getting invited by a almost stranger on his father's sailboat, and living on a sailboat for 3 weeks, while sailing from Greece to Sicilly. Being surrounded by only the sea, million stars in the sky and phytoplancton in the water, making the difference between sea and sky almost invisible, was probably one of the most beautiful nights of my life.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I'd love to help anyone learn French or English.
I can also give cooking advices on a low-budget or for vegan-curious people and travelling, hitchhiking, camping advices.
I can also share my passion for photography with you, and let you try my camera (yes yes) or give you a photoshoot, of you , your cat, or whatever!
Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann
I can share about my experiences, the culture in Québec, living in Western Australia, doing a silent-meditation retreat, camping in Indonesia, travelling for free, etc.
We always cook for our hosts!
