ABOUT ME

Me and my good friend Marika (current CS profile Maalikas) created this profile while traveling around Asia and Pacific Ocean region for more than a year. We made our gap-year to see new cultures, to meet new people and to energize ourselves before taking new steps in our lives.

We traveled 7 months together, after that we continued separately. I traveled another 6 months in Asia and in October 2009 returned to Estonia. Marika lived 5 months in Bali, Indonesia and then travelled further to South-America, then back to Asia and in December 2010 returned to Estonia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before the long-term travel I had no experience. I had just read about the experience from other travelers in Estonian newspapers. Now I have experienced it in many Asian and Pacific countries and I would highly recommend it for everyone.

New cultures and inspiring people is something really exciting which comes along with the traveling. Sports definitely is the best way to energize yourself. Photography is just one of the best hobbies to stop the time and keep the track about colorful memories.

Music has some amazing and unexplained influence on me. Even though I do not play any instrument myself or hardly can sing, there is some magic in music for me.
