À propos de moi

Nice to meet you all!

I am a FREQUENT TRAVELER both on business and personal, domestically and internationally, 2-3 times every month. Traveling gives me opportunity to see and experience what the world is so different and diverse. It is full of inspiration! Besides, it also teaches me the differences in the way of people’s life. I appreciate it and continue to learn how to show my respect to them through traveling.

In the meantime, I've been practicing the HOME SHARING LIFESTYLE for 10+ years, which I LOVE IT! Other than the physical benefits such as the property is spacious, I found that the lifestyle of sharing resources is even more worth. Moreover, Interesting things keep happening here: some people here become friend or even a real family each other( One couple had a baby and another got married while they were here!) This has made me stuck here for such long time although I had many chances in past to move out and get a room in apartment. Not only enjoying to live in the environment myself, I now try to set up the sharing home for other people in different needs, including elders or handicaps who want to live independently with aid. I believe that the sharing lifestyle can benefit well to them, too.

I guess now you got the keywords for "ABOUT ME": TRAVELING and SHARING LIFE STYLE. If they click you, we can be a good match as host and surfer or the other way around! ;)

[P.S] Sorry for not accepting the guests as I am traveling myself, currently. However, when I am in town, you are more than welcome to come to my place for coffee where you can enjoy the old Japanese style of property with the nice yard. Or I am happy to show you my area where you can enjoy a quite local atmosphere as well as grab local taste. If you want to grab HAPPY HOUR (Mon-Fri) at the local brewery, don't be shy to ring me up! ;)

[P.P.S] I am not using "VERIFY PROFILE" Service since I don't do couch-surfing all the time. I understand that some hosts require or prefer identifying the guest upfront. In that case, I am happy to submit the copy of my ID(passport #) before my arrival (I will send you it as PDF by email.)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

To get to know local people, and hopefully become a good friend and get in touch even afterward.
My main interest here is experiencing the local life through couch-surfing more than looking for free accommodation. Previously, I have done it a lot through Airbnb. Some of the hosts whom I met through them now became a good friend of mine. I hope it happens here too.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

MUSIC: Like having music as BGM. I listen to instrumental music often for those days.
MOVIES: used to watch movies a lot but not recently as my real life with traveling is the best entertainment for me.
BOOK: I read to learn some subjects, especially histories for those days.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I once cooked the local dishes from my country , Japanese, for over 20 people at the party. The host was big fan of Japanese food and asked me to be on-site chef at her party. So I did a favor for her and the party was quite successful! I was so happy that I could fill up their stomachs and hearts. At the end of the party, all the guests gave me hugs individually and in one big circle in token of appreciation. That is still one of the best memorial events that I had on my trips.

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I am happy to share those, if interesting.
1) can cook some dishes from my country
2) cultural exchange: local topics, trends, histories, language, etc...
