I am an utterly ordinary girl. I work in a zoo. I can tile floors, paint walls and fire up a sauna. I can cook, but I bake with a passion. I know how to swim (but who doesn't really?). I come up with the most amazing ideas (not always a positive thing). I buy plane tickets on a spur, and thereafter congratulate myself on it. I like dark beer (because I went to Prague and got hooked). I have a big family, which includes two Dalmatians and a cat. (If you must know, we also have a hedgehog in the backyard.) I sometimes wear different coloured socks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I'd like to meet new people. Also, I think it can only make a stay in each new corner of the world so much more authentic if you are not just touristy, but also interact with local people. Moreover, zoology positions do not pay that well.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite authors are: Dostoevsky, Vonnegut, Remarque, Nesbo, Stout, Kivirähk. My favorite books include: Remarque's "Three Comrades", Camus's "Plague", M. Reid's "The Headless Horseman", A.A. Milne's "Winnie-the-Pooh". I have probably forgotten some-or-other.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the extraordinary opportunity to pet a baby rhinoceros. I can now die in peace:)
