I'm a Biology student in Florianópolis, Brazil.
I've lived in Ireland for a year, where I found out about couchsurfing, and now I'm back home, where I intend to meet, and maybe host, some folks from around the Earth and other planets.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sharing experience!
After leaving home and being wandering by myself for a year, I realised "home" to me is not Brazil anymore. Home is the Earth.
And if the whole planet is home now, then I need to meet my family!

Interests

Cooking is very important for my mental health, it works as meditation. I love food. And I love to walk around on a mission to find the best vegan restaurants and markets when I visit different cities.

I like a good laugh with my friends and enjoy a day at the park with no worries.

Dancing! Brazilian music (forró and samba) and jazzy swingy jazz (Lindy Hop).

CATS.

I like to do some random artwork as well (mandalas, watercolour, collages, ridiculous videos), but I'm not that good at it.

I love brazilian music (samba, bossa nova, choro, brazilian jazz), but then we have all that jazz, funk, soul, a bit of blues, and prog rock (Pink Floyd ll like it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having the opportunity to study abroad and travel as a result of my hardwork.

And being able to give up on things that taste nice for stuff that I consider to be more important (i. e. veganism). It's a bizarrely wonderful peace of mind.

I feel like I also have to mention the time I went to Stonehenge on the summer solstice event. That shit's crazy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you random or useful things in portuguese and some good recipes. And obviously some biological stuff, 'cause that's what I do.
I can also share my knowledge on brazilian music (only the good schtuff!).
