Hi! (I’m new here, but let’s try...)
My name is Marília, I'm 27, from Brazil and I feel like it's about time for another big change. "Another" because 3 years ago I left my job as manager of Video Production in a big company to live at the other side of the world, in Sydney, Australia. The very planned and steady me found a very happy-go-lucky solar powered me, and this second one is disaring to see so much more of this beautiful world.
Journalism, video and online medias will always play a big part of me. And working as a nanny in Australia since day 1 taught me a lot about kids, education, organisation, routine, cooking and much more.
Most recently, in India, I did my Yoga Teaching Training and took a little intensive course about Ayurveda. Who said you can’t study while travelling?!
Besides work, I'm very connected to the nature, the Universe, spirituality, I'm super into psychology (my mom is one and I've been doing and studying it since always), and I love all the sports, no matter how bad I am at some of them.
I'm from the opinion that people shouldn't take pride for being honest, kind, reliable, polite, but I'll use this space to say that I'm all those things. I'm also extroverted, independent, intuitive and, as much as I love making connections with people, I respect and appreciate personal time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm at Couchsurfing because I believe in people and the great that we can do when we connect to each other, I believe in sustainable tourism and I think it will grown if we start doing it locally.
