About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be kind

ABOUT ME

My friends would say that I´m me! It shows that they are true friends and know what are the more likely things I would do or say and what not. (I think the best compliment 'though has been: "I really could see a movie of you, your clumsiness and all the awkward situations.

I´m rather cheerful person, like to smile a lot. And when I smile a lot and am in really really good mood I start to bounce. Seriously!
Also I love to think that even if my own day hasn't been the best one(happens right), I´ll just smile and at least make somebody else's better.

A bit about the life? From Estonia, have got my accent and quirkinesses from there.
Then.. now have been living 3 years in UK, first year working and last two studying design in Plymouth Uni. And working part-time which hours often add up more like a full-time jobs'. And now before the last year at uni, I´m spending my summer in Spain, charging the batteries.

PHILOSOPHY

Personal philosophy is pretty personal but it is certainly something to do with being as kind person as possible..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I´ve met people who may not even know how the small stories and friendly smile they´ve shared have changed little pieces from a big big clockwork.
Well, one day all these stories and experiences add up and make me a better person.

Interests

Life is engaged with studying (not in summer 'though) and working. Luckily love doing it both.

In general, my interest is observing. In many ways really. In a creepy way I could say I like to observe people. Well it makes sense when you are travelling right, trying to think of somebody's story.
Or then I can just look and try to find inspirational objects and situations.
And then often I wish I took more time to do it all, as being a "busy grown-up" is getting sidetracked from the things what are actually nourishing the soul.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh all these good bands. Some of them become more sentimental than the other but has their very own story to tell in certain time I´ve listened to every one of them..
Kings of Leon, Vampire Weekend, The Wombats, Two Door Cinema Club, The National, Mumford and Sons,
Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Switchfoot, Crossfade, Creed, The Black Keys..

Movies
Across the Universe, Pursuit of Happyness, Once, Babel, La Vita é Bella, Everything is Illuminated, and well..chick-flicks every once in a while, really.
Oh! And Howl's Moving Castle, Ponyo, Spirited Away.

Books
1984 ,G Orwell,
Steppenwolf ,H Hesse,
Master and Margarita ,M Bulgakov

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As I´ve become bit of a tourist when I go home once a year, I have been amazed times and times again how I´ve grown up in a such a beautiful place surrounded with the most amazing people.
Last summer for example I had the most amazing day in the countryside when I went to help to do some work(taking the dried wood(for the stove) back from the forest.) And in the evening we were rewarded with some basketball playing, the most delicious home-made food, beer, sauna and run from sauna straight to the pond!
Simple but can't tell enough how beautiful day it was.

Hah, was trying to think of other things which have amazed me and I think that I should but basketball to my interest. Somehow it has been connected with so many good days and lovely situations, even though I´m not even good at it, it's been a good fun playing with some certain special friends(and family this summer), finding new acquaintances or becoming friends from just being acquainted.
As this wasn't saying much what else amazing I´ve done, I´ll just say that I´ve spent unforgettable time with so many people and am forever grateful for that!
