About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be curious, to discover, question and learn... to later on be able to transmit the wonders and mysteries that I have witnessed. To meet people that challenge me, that make me grow and help me discover myself better and therefore live a fuller life.

ABOUT ME

I think my best friends would say I am outgoing, quite open-minded and adventurous. That you can find me savoring at a gourmet gastronomic/molecular restaurants as well as happily chowing down at a street corner in a cart with a half washed spoon. I love the different layers of life and the variety that makes life so interesting, and so I believe they would have a hard time classifying me as a single sided one way girl, but rather a colorful kaleidescope.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel and like meeting locals, I also enjoy traveling through hosting and showing my place when I have time.

My husband is the sweetest and kindest person. If you host us, we will make sure to be respectful in any way we can, helping cook, cleaning dishes, sharing stories with you, and creating lifelong friendships!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has been great to me. I have met some wonderful human beings out there, seen some super interesting and different ways of life and have made lasting friendships along the way. From being part of a photo shoot, to going on pub crawls, to cooking dinners and talking about the meaning of life. I have had people literally take their kids out of their rooms to give me a bed, cook breakfast for me before going to work and leave me the keys to their apartment when leaving for 3 weeks abroad, with a simple request to leave the key in the mailbox when I leave.

It's amazing and incredible to receive this amount of trust and kindness. I hope that in return I have been trustworthy, kind, caring, considerate and a at least decent cook for my hosts. I have tried to give back as much as I have received, but I know that I will keep permanent debts in my heart with them. :)

Thank you Couchsurfing!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

"The Little Prince", "Sapiens" by Yuval Harari.
Acoustic! African tunes, reggae, salsa, blues, Nueva Trova, some country but when I can roll down the windows and let my hair blow in the wind.
I like mind twisting movies, dramas based on historical events or real-life struggles, suspense and documentaries, witty comedy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Discovering by accident a shoreline of a beautiful beach I used to visit all the time, but this night covered with sardines swimming in and out of the waves, reflecting the moonlight and creating a silver wave on the floor.

Swimming with the curious seals and thankfully indifferent sharks in Galapagos Islands, skydiving.

Seeing a total solar eclipse. Would have never expected how touched I would be by it, but it was MAGICAL.

Backpacking through India and meeting a couch surfer who offered his place for a couple of nights in Mumbai before leaving to Barcelona, who decided last minute to give me his house keys for me to stay a week in his apartment while he traveled.

Teach, Learn, Share

There are constantly opportunities to learn. It's just a matter of keeping your eyes and ears open. Observe and keep asking questions.

I have many experiences as well to share, what I should teach, that depends on the person.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My curiosity, my crazy ideas and my willingness to try new things that might lead us to quite an adventure.
