CURRENT MISSION The Great Commission ABOUT ME I thought I missed out on my travel dreams when I married young and soon had children that I needed to help raise and support. Turns out life can have many different chapters. Teaching is my second career. Since becoming a teacher at age 40 I have traveled in Europe with my daughter and spent two years with my husband teaching English in China. I have recently retired from teaching primary children in Canada. PHILOSOPHY Be the difference. I like Tolstoy's three questions: When is the most important time? Who is the most important one? What is the best thing to do? Answers: Now; the one beside me; to do good for the one beside me. I think God puts opportunities in front of us all the time. We need to move ahead in these small steps on our way to serving a higher purpose.

Although I've been pretty excited to see some famous and not-so-famous sights in various parts of the world, one experience that stands out is the time we had hot-pot with farm workers on the back porch of a ranch house on a mountain in southwestern China.
