About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To gradually realize that the world is not as big as it seems :)
ABOUT ME
Hmmmm... Well, I'm origionally from a tiiinny little town in Pennsylvania, but I live in New York. I was living in Lyon from January to June which is where I became involved in the CouchSurfing community. I have always craved new experiences, and I happen to be both terrified and strangely addicted to change and the unknown. I love meeting new people and immersing myself in another culture or lifestyle. I love learning things about people and about my environment and the world around me.
PHILOSOPHY
I search everyday for new things and experiences to begin to shape the person I hope to become...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am pretty brand spankin' new to this network. I had always heard things here and there about CouchSurfing when I never really had the time or the circumstance to travel (without my parents), and I thought it seemed like a great way for people to both see the world and make personal, meaningful connections with others all around as well. Alas, when I hit up France and my main objective was to travel travel travel, I got to finally see what it's all about. And, well, let's just say I wasn't disappointed ;). Looking forward to many more great experiences to come :D
Interests
Surfing! (just learned this summer and I'm beyond hooked) Horseback riding, being active, good food, great friends, the movies, travel (this is a given), reading, trying new things, and more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went to Portugal and worked at a surf camp for two months on a last minute terrifying whim. Best experience of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I will be the first to admit that I have very little experience, and very many things to learn, which is why I try to be open to all sorts of ides and philosophies, people and experiences. One thing I do know from experience, when someone lends their advice (free of charge),... listen. Also, always do something that scares you a little but every day.
