Live until I die. I want to see as much as the world as l can and experience all that I can. I want to give back as much as I have been given.

ABOUT ME

I am a friendly out going person. I am a nurse and enjoy working with the elderly. I have 2 adult daughters and a grandson. I love to meet new people from different countries and backgrounds. I enjoy discussing many things, art, movies, politics and spirituality. I enjoy learning from others and hearing of their experiences in this life. I practice nursing and also have my masters level in Reiki, an energy healing technique. I am interested in shamanism and paganism.

PHILOSOPHY

I am an open person . I believe we are put here to learn, and give to others, help each other thru this journey called life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This has been one of the greatest things I have ever done. I have met amazing people from all over the world, many of them I am still in touch with. It has been a great way to learn about other cultures and world attitudes and to see the differences and commonalities between nations. I have hosted many travellers and have had very positive experiences.

Intereses

I like to read a variety of books, historical fiction, spiritual, political, history. I like foreign movies. I am involved in the Swedish club in my city and am interested in geneology. I love to cook and bake. I enjoy travelling and learning new things, exploring different cultures and places. I consider myself a life long learner. I took up painting a few years ago, but would like to do it more.

I like foreign movies, favourites are "My life as a Dog", "Intouchables", "Amelie", I enjoy folk music like Loreena McKennitt, Fairport Convention, Steel Eye Span, Blue Grass music, 80's pop music, and Classical.I like too many books to mention.

I have been in the Dikteon Cave in Crete, where Zeus was born in Greek mythology. it was like a gothic cathedral with the millennia old stalagmites and stalactites. Amazing.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can teach some great recipes, home made pasta and Greek salad for example. I am a Reiki practitioner so could teach about that and share treatments.
