Overview
About Me
My first experience with traveling came when I was 13, and went on a language trip to Oxford for three weeks. I got hooked. I've been looking for the next great adventure ever since, new people to meet, and new languages to absorb. I'm very open and earnest, outgoing and happy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
What a great way to visit new places, while getting in touch with the locals! It allows for a whole new understanding of your destination. Talking to people who actually live there, not just a representative of the tourist industry.
Interests
I love being active, anything new and exhilarating is perfect. Food is equally a passion, good wine and good company is high on the list.

Music, Movies, and Books
Pride and prejudice (Jane Austin) the Harry Potter series, Mathilda (Roal Dahl) and Brødrene Løvehjerte (Astrid Lindgren)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've walked an hour and a half down to the streetmarket in Régnier (France) every Saturday during the fig season to buy fresh figs from a local farm. The road leading down to town was mostly made of hard, dry dirt , and led me through a landscape of sloping hillsides and vast pastures drenched in warm October sun.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to share stories from the places I've visited, cook together and be outdoorsy together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to cook you dinner, or bake you a traditional Norwegian pastry. I could tell stories of the old Norse gods, or introduce you to traditional folk song with ties to the Viking era.
