About Me

Hi there!

Back in 2015, a semester abroad in Uruguay ignited my love for solo travel — and I haven’t looked back since. From South America to Southeast Asia, I’ve been chasing landscapes, stories, and new faces around the world.

I’m a 30-year-old Belgian guy who thrives outdoors, loves animals, and enjoys swapping stories over good coffee or a shared meal. I recently completed a Yoga Teacher Training in Bali, and now I’m headed to New Zealand for a year of road-tripping, farm work, and a Permaculture Design Course somewhere along the way.

I’ll be spending my first week or so in Auckland looking for a campervan — so I’d be really grateful to find a welcoming place to stay while I figure it all out. Always happy to share good conversation, a helping hand, or some photography tips in return!

Let’s connect if you’re up for it!

Music, Movies, and Books

According to Spotify's daylist, I am currently into 90's Hip-Hop but I enjoy many genres of music.

Otherwise, I currently enjoy bands such as Parcels or Khruangbin.

Adventure and historical novels are my dope.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Damn! I was lucky enough to add quite a lot to that list. From safaris to skydiving and snorkling in amazing spots, I can't pick just one.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love exchanging stories and perspectives — there’s something special about learning through other people’s journeys. I'm always curious to pick up new skills, ideas, or cultural quirks, especially when it comes to languages (I'm a bit of a language nerd and will happily geek out over accents, grammar, or slang from any corner of the world).

In return, I’m happy to share anything I know! I can teach the basics of photography (or help you level up your travel shots), guide you through a simple yoga sequence, and share tips from my travel and farm work experiences. I’ve also got a background in communication, so if you ever want to talk about storytelling, media, or how to write a great pitch - I’m your guy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I travel light, but I always try to carry a good vibe, curiosity, and a willingness to help. Whether it’s sharing stories over dinner or helping out with something around the house or garden, I’m always happy to contribute.
