ABOUT ME

I graduated from Virginia Tech with a dual degree in English and Communication with a minor in Russian in the spring of 2012. I am now doing Teach For America in Phoenix, Arizona and working on my master's degree in Education at Arizona State University. I have two younger sisters, a black lab, and a couple of cats. I love traveling, exploring, and trying new things (foods especially!). My favorite place that I've been is Edinburgh, Scotland, but it is likely that will change as I experience more places.

PHILOSOPHY

I used to be really shy, but I'm trying my best to become more outgoing so I can meet more people and do more things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I CouchSurfed with some friends to go to Chicago in August, 2011, but haven't done any surfing since then. Hopefully I can expand this section as I gain more experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a semester studying abroad at the University of Sheffield in England. It was an amazing experience because I was able to learn a lot about culture, the world, and more about myself than I ever imagined.
