About Me
New to couch surfers and looking to make friends through here as I travel! My girlfriend and I are doing a bike tour through the PNW April - May and I’m super stoked to meet people along the way!
We are a gay couple so if you’re not cool with that and we reach out to you or vice versa feel free to politely decline and let’s all stay respectful of one another’s differences.
I believe the best naps are taken in hammocks and a laugh a day keeps the doctor away.
Backpacking, hiking, climbing, snowboarding, and park days playing soccer or frisbee with friends are just a few of my favorite things.
I grew up in Atlanta Georgia and I know the difference between sweet tea and sweetened ice tea.
My parents immigrated from Moldova back in the 90s so I grew up speaking Russian in my home and still speak it fluently.
I graduated from Eckerd College in May of 2017 with a degree in Environmental Studies and since then have been bouncing around the country working at rock climbing gyms, breweries, ski schools, summer camps, and attempting to do some writing as well.
I'm looking to go to grad school for either public health or urban planning and I would love to work on making cities more bike friendly and incorporating more outdoor education into the public school system.
I’m a huge animal lover and my family has a giant hound named Sammy who is the light of my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel a lot and love getting to know locals wherever I go and hearing other people's stories and bad jokes.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a sucker for 90s hits, Pixar movies, and the Percy Jackson book series.
My girlfriend and I also totally dominate at Harry Potter Trivia and will take on any other Pottermore nerds anytime!
My music tastes are all over the place, right now i'm really digging Busty and the Bass, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and LP. I'm also a pretty die hard Jack Johnson fan all the time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've driven a bus full of post smores sugar rushed 12 and 13 year olds through a windy mountain pass with a trailer fully loaded with kayaks attached.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to teach wilderness and primitive skills, learn about neuroscience, and share drinks and laughs!
