About Me

The thing that I enjoy the most is visiting new countries and meeting different people around the world. Life is too short and there´s too many places and cultures to discover!
It was because of this interest for knowing different ways of life that I have studied Social Anthropology in Buenos Aires, Argentina. But now is time to put into practice all this knowledge, and that´s why me and my boyfriend left our home in May 2014 to start traveling around the world.

We are very easygoing people, clean and tidy, we enjoy outdoors activities and also watching a good movie or serie, going to museums, reading, listening to music.
We are both interested in local food, we love to try new things.
We like a cold beer in the beach and also some good wine matching a special meal.
We are ecofriendly and love pets (usual pets, no spiders or snakes). I miss my cat Indio so much.
The last and most important thing: We are both FANS of football!

Hope to get to know you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I´m on couchsurfing because I think that the most interesting thing about visiting a place is to be able to know its real people and share experiences with them. I always choose to avoid touristic circuits and look for the real way of life of each place. I think that´s the most genuine way to travel.
Me and my boyfriend have lived for almost a year traveling around New Zealand, making friends, sharing our history, and helping in different ways in the houses where we have stayed. Now we have plenty of kiwi friends, lots of work experience and some very nice memories of learning from a different culture.

Interests

My interests are: traveling (of course), diving, biking, cooking, trekking, reading.
Beer and Wine and Good Food count as interests? If they do, I must add them in this list.
Also, Anthropology, Sociology, History. I love to learn about the history and culture of the places I visit.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Reggae, Rock, Argentinian Rock, Jazz, Colombian cumbia (?)
Movies: Right now I can think of Good Bye Lenin, Nueve Reinas, but there are a million of movies I like. The important thing is that Adam sandler is not part of them.
Books - Authors: Almudena Grandes, Galeano, García Marquez, J. K. Toole, Orwell, and so many others...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mmmmmm.... crossing the Lacar Lake swiming?

Oh, I know!: Going to Moscow in winter... -30ºc.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Spanish and cook a very nice lemon pie ... ¿?
Pablo, my boyfriend, can teach the theory and practice of football and how to make a perfect argentinian asado.
Together we can try to explain whatTF is PERONISMO.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Our travel experience and our argentinian and latinoamerican culture. Also some meals from home.
