About Me
Hi!
My name is Marina, and I'm 21. I live in the north of Spain, and I'm currently studying History at university.
I love travelling with my friends and by my self too. Because of my career and my interests I want to travell all around the world and learn about every single culture.
My hobbies are music ( I play the guitar), sport, reading, and sharing hours with my friends talking about life, our experiences and thoughts. I consider myself a very easy going person. I'd love to try this new experience because I know it will be great, and will help me to build myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because since a friend told me about this very innovative idea I could not resist the idea of trying this experience. I love travelling, and within that great experience I love making new friends, and meeting people from all over the world, with different stories and lifes.
Besides, I'm a very easy going person, I love listening the sotories of new people, learning how to meet and understand the humans. I'm very friendly and openminded.
I've travelled to UK and France, and I've visited almost all regions of my country, Spain. I've travelled with my family, my friends, and alone, and stayed in hotels, campings and shelters ( in the famous "Camino de Santiago"), sharing home with people I had just met. I loved the ambient we created there. I've never tried this type of travelling that Couchsurfing offers, so I'm looking forward to.
I think this is an experience I'm gonna enjoy, and of which I can lear a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music, and I listen to every styles. If I have to choose one, I'd pick rock music. But I'm very fond of ska, punk, classic, celtic, "flamenco", and a very long list. Nowadays, I'd recomend to hear some of "the greats" of rock music, like "Led Zeppelin", "GnR", "Jimi Hendrix"... I've discovered recently a musician that mixes music and prehistory, another passion of mine, called Neonymus, that I've come to enjoy a lot too. I listen to medieval music, but I go out often with my group of friends so I know also the latest hits. Besides, I have learned to play the guitar, and the whistle a little, so I can perform the songs I love, singing at the same time (another thing that I love).
I love going to the cinema, activity that I perform very often. I have fun seeing action movies, but my favorite genre is drama. The movies I enjoy the most are the ones that make me cry, or think about the plot for hours, making me ramble in my thoughts. If I had to name a few examples, I would mention "The Seventh Seal", "Into the wild", "Gran Torino", "Spirited Away".... etc.
I love reading. This is perhaps the hobby I enjoy the most, next to play guitar. I read history books, essays, novels, poetry... I can't choose a favorite book, but some of which have marked me more are "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" by Milan Kundera, "The Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka, "Kafka on the Shore" by Haruki Murakami, or "1984" by George Orwell.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing experience I'd have the opportunity to realize is making the famous "Camino de Santiago", next to my best friend Coral. We travelled walking from one village to the next one. We slept outdoors, in shelters, and met amazing people with the same interests of us. People who wanted to have new experiences shared with persons of all over the world, like us. We learned a lot, about life, about humans, about us.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a great experience. I love listening and sharing my story. I'm very openminded and easy going. I love being sociable. One of my maxims is that you can always learn something when you meet new people. The word is the key to knowledge.
