About Me

I am a student in Thessaloniki and i am studying Piano Performance at the University of Macedonia. I live in a very beautiful neighbourhood in Thessaloniki with trees all around the street and there are coffee shops and restaurants nearby!
Generally speaking, i am a really quiet person, slightly introvert but i surely like to hang out in beautiful places, taking long walks and talking about anything! I appreciate good coffee and good company!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I chose to join the Couchsurfing community mostly for making my travelling easier by being hosted by people my age (and hosting of course) or just by meeting up with them! I really believe that the experience of travelling changes significantly when one stays with the locals of each country and shares every-day life the way it is lived there.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am mostly into alternative and indie rock bands and of course into classical music(since it's my field of study!) I can talk for hours about bands fun facts and stuff like that !

I have watched lots of films(enjoyed some, loved some, hated some) but if i had to make a top list for now(since all tastes change from time to time) i would say i enjoy Quentin Tarantino's films, Tim Burton's films but my top favourite director of all time is my beloved Hayao Miyazaki!( I litteraly grew up with his movies)-Spirited away and Princess Mononoke are my highlights!

Same is for books, i've read tons of different things but my field of interest is philosophy and psychology! I am open to all kinds of books, novels fantasies and also comics, but i always felt attracted to the two above the most! 70% of my library consists of philosophy books and books on psychological research!(Noam Chomsky, Erich Fromm, Richard Dawkins etc..)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying up all night with my friends in Lebanon, during the Ramadan period, just to enjoy plenty of food right before the break of dawn..! I still remember this as a special memory 'cause i had the chance to bond with my friends more, we felt sleepy together, drank together and became extremely silly together right before we hit on some great amound of food! -Note that Lebanese cuisine is quite remarkable!

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you some basic things about piano playing, the greek language and some things about the english language of course!
I am open to share many of my interests and of course learn from the people i meet! I find the differences of people very interesting and i'm always learning from different cultures and languages!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am generally a convenient person, i can share thoughts, experiences and concerns about anything in life , and i always love to hear fascinating stories!
