About Me

I'm a young woman learning to experience life. I study medicine in university, which actually leaves me with very little amount of time to do other things that I love. But anyway, I really enjoy music in very different ways; I love listening to music and playing it! I play guitar, drums and (a little bit of) bass, and I also really like to sing (although I'm not very good at it).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy traveling, so I think I should do it more often, but I don't usually have enough money to do that. So I've think that this would be a very good way so save a little bit of money and, of course, meeting a lot of new people (which is something that I really enjoy as well!).

Interests

I'm really into music!! But I really like to talk about everything: life, nature, culture, medicine... And I love to learn new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love very different types of music, from Paramore, Nirvana, As It Is or Real Friends to The Beatles or even any jazz type music; I just enjoy everything that sounds awesome!
It obviously depends on my mood, but I can listen to anything.

My favorite book at the moment would be Brave New World, by Huxley.

And about movies, I have to say that I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter. But of course I enjoy many non-fantasy types of movies. I really like silly movies that make me laugh, like My Big Fat Greek Wedding or School of Rock. But also "alternative" movies, such as It's Kind of a Funny Story, V for Vendetta or Detachment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled around Europe for a hole month this summer!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to speak a little of Spanish, to play guitar or even some cardiopulmonary resuscitation if you want!
I also know how to beat-box, so I might be able to teach you a little bit.

I'm willing to learn everything that I can that involves languages, music or cooking.

I also can share with you some psychology tips or just trying to help you solve (or talk about) any problem that you have in your life (if you'd like to); I really love helping people and listening to them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very tidy and kind. I really like to have deep conversations about almost anything and meeting new people. I can cook quite well and I hope that if you let me stay in your house some time, I can cook some delicious cuban rice for you (which is quite simple, but it is actually one of my favorite dishes in the world). I also LOVE to cook (and eat) arepas and burritos.
