About Me

Hello friends of Couchsurfing! My name is Marina, and I am so excited to finally join this network of both part time and full time adventurers. I spend most of my days at school and work, and with friends. When I have time off, I love to explore my beautiful home state of California, read non fiction books, and watch comedies with my dog.

I'd love to hang out , whether on this continent or another!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am always eager to meet like minded souls who desire travel and relationship. I believe we are all here to discover what this vast Earth has to offer, and to build each other up in the meantime.

Couch-surfing, hosting exchange students, even grabbing a cup of coffee is how we expand and deepen our relationships. Although travelling independently is good for some, I love to include as many as possible in my adventures.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am passionate about Balkan history and anthropology and would love to learn and discuss that, as well as global affairs. Mostly though, I am always happy to meet people I can laugh and joke with! I would love to improve my Spanish/German/Serbian language and am happy to share whatever I can.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be more than happy to take you to places less known in Southern California, help with English skills, make coffee and snacks, and have meaningful and memorable conversations!
