I was born in Chernovitz, former U.S.S.R. today it's the Ukraine. It's real funny to think that your country disintegrated before you did :). My parents came to Israel and I was raised here. I am a writer and a translator. I also sometimes work as a journalist and give lectures, but only when the subjects are close to my heart. As a child, off course, I wasn't too happy to be an immigrant, but as I grew up, I realized I'm actually lucky to be part of several cultures. I live in country with Jewish immigrants from 140 different countries, a big minority of Arabs (both Muslims and christian), as well as other smaller minorities (Druze, Bedouins, Cherkessian, Sumerians, Armenians, and others), so being multicultural is very fundamental part of my identity.

Well, I just enrolled and never hosted or have been hosted before throught couchsurfing )but did through friends and acquaintances). love raveliing and meeting new people. love showing my country to travalers.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Iv'e never hosted before, so I'm not quite sure. I'll start with the facts. I have a lovely apartment in Jaffa, not far from Jaffa Port, the flee market, the beach, and the coolest bars and restaurants. with great connection to all parts of Tel Aviv. I can't offer a private room, but i can offer a very comfortable sofa-bed in my living room, wi-fi, a warm welcome, and the best advise I can give.
As for hanging out with the guests. It really depends on how busy I am. I love showing around Jaffa, but, again, I maybe too busy to do that, so you'll have to make do with an advice :)
