About Me

I like to make friends and to travel. I like people, architecture, some history. I am talkative. I like to discuss different things: traditions, culture, business, real estate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet locals when I travel. I'd love to recomend something interesting in Russia and St-Petersburg.

Interests

Recently moved to Beograd from St. petersburg, Russia.
So a bit later I'll change info here.

All main things in St.-Petersburg one day!!! About 8 kilometers walk.

We start from Nevsky prospect, main street of the city, on the corner of Dumskaia street, next to Gostinni Dvor - a typical old shopping center or market building. We go to Kazan Cathedral, then cross Nevsky prospect and go to Church on Split Blood. There is a nice Michailovsky garden next to the church, we go through it or around to Summer Garden, the oldest garden existing from the beginning of the city. We go through the garden or through Mars Field to the Bridge cross Neva River to Peter and Paul Fortress, walk through it and get to Spit of Vasilevskiy Island with the building of Stock Exchange and Rostral Columns decorating it.

From Vasilevskiy Island we cross Neva by Palace bridge to Winter Palace and other Hermitage buildings which face Neva embankment and Palace Square, then we pass main Admiralty building and get to St.-Isaac’s cathedral, you can get on the top of it. Also, there is Bronze Horseman monument to the city founder Peter the Great next to it. Then we can go to New Holland Island it used to be a huge storage space now its nice art and outdoors rest space.

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to like fiction books, now life is much more interesting. I like to watch movies. some music is OK.

Teach, Learn, Share

Some times I teach English, I am not a native speaker. I can teach how to cook some Russian food. I know some of St. Petersburg and Russian history.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook some food, tell about Russian life, business, real estate and marketing and invite my hosts to stay at my place in St Petersburg, Russia.
Probably, right now I am not hosting as i have given my apartment out for rent.
I'll be happy to give some recommendations about st.Petersburg.
