Hi there! I am currently on an 18 month break from work and doing my long-awaited solo backpacking adventure! I am dedicated pretty much my entire trip to exploring parts of Asia and the Middle East. Hoping to meet people, share culture, and see the best that the world has to offer.

An optimistic introvert, I am happy to be a listener or do my own thing when needed. But I am also always down for adventure and going out to get the local experience!

Last year I suffered a stroke which majorly disrupted my life goals and what I thought was my defined path. However the beauty of life is that there is no set script and this tragic experience allowed me to re-evaluate what I want in life. So I took the chance, put my career on hold, and set off to this big world with my backpack- and loving it so far!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel like the best way to get to know a place is by the people, and why not share experiences with like-minded individuals! Getting to stay local and help around the house or simply just meet up for a drink seem like great ways to broaden my horizons and make meaningful connections. I'm open to new experiences and want to challenge myself in new ways socially.

Lost my big backpack off the back of my bike while motorcycling solo through Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Turned into the most heartwarming story of hospitality and friendship. And everything was returned safely!
