About Me
- I love to travel, like everyone here :)
But not binge-traveling or Insta-traveling. I don't like to travel from country to country, staying only a week or so and jumping onto the next one. I prefer to slowly immerse myself in the culture, meet locals, take my time to feel the atmosphere, hear personal stories and watch the seasons go by whenever it's possible.
In Canada with a working holiday visa. Going to Australia next :)
- My absolute dream is to go to Antarctica.
- Not a city person. I feel way more alive surrounded by nature than lost in the middle of a crowd. However, I have a keen interest in street art and can go specially to a city only to contemplate murals, usually in the quietness of an early Sunday morning.
- I enjoyed hockey in France (oh, I'm French, yes) but our teams are far to be as good as yours. I would love to see a game while I'm in Canada and I'm taking any tips and recommendations about which team, where, and how to get a decent price. I'll be glad to have a guide, too =)
- Fascinated by passionate people. I love to see little sparks in your eyes when you're speaking about something you truly love to do.
- I love road trips. I'm never as happy as when I'm driving a car for hours in the countryside, on moutain roads or near the sea, with plenty of good music and no constraints at all.
- Not a planner. I love to go with the flow, to see what happens, to let the door open to new opportunities. I change my mind easily too.
- Food lover. Of real, delicate, tasteful food. I love going to the local markets, discover new ingredients or fine products.
- I'm scared as hell by bears. Took me an expatriation to Canada to find out 🤦♀️
- I'm more on the introvert side of this world. Meaning I love to spend an evening sharing a good meal and stories with interesting people but you will probably never find me in a bar or a noisy / crowded place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I do like meeting new people with different cultural background/values/interests and share a bit of my path with them. I usually do volunteering here and there to connect with locals or stay in hostels from time to time to meet fellow travellers but I haven't tried CS yet !
