Hello fellow travelers! My name is Marina and I'm an American born but am from Mexico (so definetly a Latina at heart), who lives just outside of Washington DC and goes to college at a university in the U.S. When I was younger I was lucky to have been able to travel through Europe with my family as well as traveling to Guadalajara, Mexico every summer to visit my family. I currently am on a study abroad trip that is leading me around the world to Sao Paolo, Brazil; Barcelona, Spain; and Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa. I am young but the travel bug is just starting and while I have been fortunate to see a lot, I can't stay settled and want to see and travel more of this beautiful world! I have a few friends who found amazing experiences through couch surfing and I wanted a chance to try it for myself and have crazy stories to bring back to share in the U.S. I’m a really chill person and always down to have a good time. I’m extroverted, adventurous, curious and social, and in general I love trying new things and having good/crazy experiences :)

I’m open and willing to teach what I know, which includes but is not limited to: Mexican culture, good music, life in the US, how to have fun wherever you are, life experiences, and more. If anyone has done solo backpacking or travel I would love some advice and tips! I’m constantly looking forward to learning about new cultures and languages from the travelers I meet! I also would love any tips for fun trips that have been done all over the world as I'm looking to travel all around the world and attempt to satisfy my wanderlust!
