My name is Marina (you can call me simply Mary 😇), and Zaporizhzhya is my hometown. I started traveling since I was 16, at that date I enjoyed staying in Europe. Further I had some experience in hitchhiking within Ukraine. I cannot say that I have huge experience in traveling, and the reason is time lack - as usual in our modern world. But nevertheless, in my future plans there are so many countries to visit, so many places to explore, so many people to meet & understand. Come along with me, buddy ✌🏼

I'm in love with different kinds of music, especially electronic one; cooking, photography & art, cinematography, biographies of successful and inspiring people. Recently, a new interest came into my sight, - I began studying everything related to ecology, environmental issues and "zero.waste" lifestyle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that Couchsurfing is the best creature for all travelers and simply open-minded people. It is also the best place where we can just talk to each other and easily find a companion or even a true friend. In the fullness of time this platform really helped me with finding new friends and staying with locals, who shared with me their time, kindness, homes and invaluable life experience.
Well, I'm here `cause Couchsurfing unites everyone who wants it! It's very awesome.

I am fond of art in all its manifestations 💔

📷 Especially I like photography and drawing; I like the composition of brush stroke on paper; I like the symphony of colors in the pictures and photos. Total perfectionism towards the strict lines and architecture. I would even call this my authentic hobby and the way of world perception. From such weaknesses true love to the Instagram once was born. This is the place where personally I can share with my followers the beauty around me. Where I can glean inspiration from others' individually and from their photo compositions. Also I am big fan of neon lights!

📚 Reading. World's history, personal biographies, books about self-development and spiritual education, novels... I guess that even in our age of technology books still have the important position in successful people life's. My favorite ones are: Hermann Hesse ('Der Steppenwolf'), Shree Rajneesh (Osho), Mikhail Bulgakov and many others. Even postmodernism 😂
