ABOUT ME

HI!!

My name is Marina. I LOVE to travel, but I have never couchsurfed before, so I'm very eager to try!! So far I have been to Netherlands, Austria, Czech Republic, Belgium, Greece and Croatia. I always stayed at hostels and in concequence it's a bit harder to meet real local people and really get to know their way of living. So I say: Not any more! :) Couchsurfing, here I come!

I'm from a little European country Slovenia. That's near Italy, Austria, Hungary and Croatia. That much of geografy lesson for now. ;)

If someone asked me, what can I do, I would definitly tell them that I can play violin, because that's one of my rare talents. I play it for 11 years now. I've also been to music school, but not any more, because of my studies.

I study marketing communications & PR at Faculty of social sciences here, in Slovenia. It's a field I'm very interested in and I try to engage as much activities revolving around it as possible, so I just joined Student section of Slovenian marketing Asociation and now I help organize some marketing events like marketing lectures, round tables, parties and so on. I enjoy that very much, it keeps me on my feet all days some times. :)

In my spare time I also enjoy hanging out with my dormitory neighbours and do just about anything - from cooking lunch together, to playing basketball, watching movies, drinking coffe. Just anything anybody thinks off.
