Hi, everyone! I am Marina :)I'm optimistic, enthusiastic person. I like adventures and I am very curious about learning and trying new things... I love to travel, my dream is to travel all over the world. I like to meet new people and different cultures, it is always very interesting and inspiring for me, that expands my horizons and changes my point of view.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My preffered ways of participating are activities and surfing.I would like to host people, but unfortunatelly, I don't have conditions for that now. But we can do a plenty of activities in the town together - go sightseeing, go to a coffe, a cake or a drink, going out... I also like to go to museums, theaters, cinemas, so you can count on me for that too :)As I said, I like to travel a lot, and I think CS gives us a great opportunity to meet people all around the world, to get to know their culture, lifestyle, and in that way really make our travelling much better experience...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As you can see, I am new here, and I am trying to get started the best I can, but it isn't easy. I hpe you will help me and give me a chance :)I didn't have any experience through CouchSurfing yet, but I had some similar experiences before:I am a part of a student organization eSTUDENT here in Zagreb in my Faculty, and we have a project in which we are hanging out with foreign students who come here on exchanges (usually via Erasmus program) - so we welcome them at a station, show them the student dorm, go sightseeing, go for a coffee etc. during their stay here, so I already know something about how it should look like :)I also have a few experiences similar to surfing. I was staying with people that I didn't know before for 2 times and that were great experiences, they were great hosts and I am still in contact with them. So now I decided to try it also here on CS and I hope to have so nice experiences as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - my favorite kind of movies are comedies and also films like drama based on real events - films that has some deeper message and makes me think about some issues I am not aware of very often.
Music - I like almost everything (except heavy metal) - my favorite is Croatian music "klape" from Dalmatia and from my home region Slavonia. I also like pop, rock...
I like books about psihology and human behavior.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped with parachute (in tandem) and it was amazing experience and I hope to go to training for jumping on my own... I like to do new things and I like adventures. I like to travel a lot (my favorite is travelling by plane). You don't have to tell me twice to go somewhere :)
