ABOUT ME
I can be very very quiet at times. Silent. Other times I'll be bouncing off the walls and talking about anything and everything. It really depends and it's quite random as to which it will be on any particular day. But I'm generally always content with life and I'm a live-and-let-be type of person. I can be friends with anyone and I love people in general, no matter how far off-kilter they are from the axis of typical personality traits. In fact that can me more entertaining. You can always count on me to see the good side of a situation or of a person. I try to be non-judgmental and to see a given situation from all sides.
PHILOSOPHY
Take it one day at a time and move forward. Don't worry too much, it will be alright in the end.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't yet...don't know why...but gosh I've been admiring everyone who has the guts to just leave and travel. I think it's about my turn to do this...

Interests
Recently I've started foam fighting with Belegarth. It's a LARP group without silly magic or role-play. It's just a good ol' time where you get to beat people up with foam sticks....though I'm not sure if I should be putting beating people up as an interest. So I guess I also draw....paint....I love the occasional StarCraft 2 game. I also enjoy sewing, gardening, collecting rocks, people watching...I don't know....everything? anything? I don't have enough of an attention span really to actually stick to a small list of things and just end up doing a little bit of everything. Oh and I'm in love with clouds. My biggest folder is of pictures of clouds I take...usually while driving. I have hundreds.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can enjoy most genres and appreciate them. Music wise I prefer something happy, upbeat, moving, idk....alternative-ish?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The was this one time I went on a retreat with my mom to a cabin in Idaho somewhere. Sawtooths maybe. I remember being discontent the entire trip since it was with my mom's women's church group and I really didn't have anything in common with them but I needed to get out of the city. The weather had been less than favorable...the type that doesn't even have interesting clouds to look at. The cabin was nice and I spent most of the time off in one corner, curled up, reading a book or something. Then one evening, during this meeting where you have to talk about your feelings or something silly like that, rain started falling right as the setting sun peaked out from the cloud layer. I look out the back over the river, and I can't see much except falling gold. The sun was lighting up the rain just so, and you could only see a wall of large gold drops in front of you...so bright I was convinced that if I just reached out a hand I would be set for life. I then ran to the opposite side of the cabin and went outside. There was no rain, but the mountains were lit up in the distance across a large field. I think it was spring because everything was so green and covered in patches of flowers. But everything was as bright as it would be on a clear sunny day, except the clouds were one of the darkest greys I've ever witnessed. And there, across the whole sky was a huge, perfectly arched rainbow. Seriously I felt like I was in a fairy-tale.
