ABOUT ME

I am a Marathon Maniac, and so my travel destinations almost always include somewhere that a marathon is being run! I have thus far completed marathons in all 50 US states as well as on all 7 continents, and am half way through round two of the states!

I met a lot of cool friends through running, so I have not used CS for a while, as I have had a lot of roomshare options with my 50 States running friends. However, I am planning some solo road trips upcoming, so I am getting back into it (2015).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hang out with CS locals thru the groups and events, as well as host out-of-towners or be hosted when I'm traveling. The best way I have found to be a part of this community is by by meeting all sorts of cool people--- either by having them stay with me when they travel, meeting up in some mutual setting by chance or plan, or hanging out with them when I travel to their town, where I can learn about the area from their local expertise!

Movies I enjoy include Mean Girls! Silence of the Lambs, The Butterfly Effect, Signs, The Others, Clueless, Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion, Legally Blonde

..Gosh so many. Maybe one thing from a few travel areas instead? Saw the pope / Vatican / Sistine Chapel in Rome, the Barrier Reef in Australia, penguins in Antarctica & Chile, the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro at the glaciers and clouds below, Great Wall in China, Awesome sting rays in Grand Cayman, and some gorgeous Glaciers in Alaska, USA

-completing / planning marathons
