About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am exploring Cartagena and the surrounding area until June 2009.

ABOUT ME

Yo soy hispanohablante, e quasi falo portugues. I have the music library of a hip-hop dj, because I used to be one. I am a nomad - I have spent more than a year of the last five in Central and South America, and I will be in Cartagena de Indias until May or June. I idolize Ani diFranco, Frida Kahlo, Francesca Woodman, Sylvia Plath, Lauryn Hill, and Elizabeth Bishop. I am trying to grow. I am trying to find my own apartment, so that I will have a couch to offer surfers.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that we are all equal, regardless of race, class, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability or social class.
I am of a Buddhist-Heidiggarian school of thought that tries to accept the idea that we are indistinguishable from our actions, attitudes about ourselves, and our environments.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by offering my company and knowledge of Cartagena to anyone who wants it. I can't say that I can offer a space to stay right now because I am living with a family, but soon I hope to have my own place.
