Overview
About Me
I am a Spanish girl who is currently doing her PhD in the Department of Biological Sciences at Mississippi State University, USA. I have lived in several countries such a Ecuador, Brazil, Sweden and Costa Rica.
I love to travel around the world, meeting new people and learning different cultures. Since I have been living in different places, I have friends all over the world and that is in fact one of the most enriching experiences of all my travels. Also, I enjoy spending my free time hiking and enjoying in the nature. I am an animal lover and a science enthusiast!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to host people in my house, helping them to make their trips easier and more comfortable (at the same time than cheaper!). Also, I would love to have the opportunity to know more about their cultures and experiences. On the other hand, I would like to have also the opportunity to travel around usinig couchsurfing what will save me money and will allow me to meet amazing people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I cannot live without music. I prefer english and spanish rock, but I listen almost all kinds of styles.
One of the best pleasures is watching a movie with my friends. One of my favorite movies, and related to travels, is Into the Wild.
I use to read books related to science and of course, a lot of articles with evolution and development as a topic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Abisko, at the north of Sweden, in a really small village where I could only enjoy the nature, frozen lakes and snowy mountains.
Also, I have been working as a research coordinator in a Sea Turtle Conservation program, in Costa Rica, where I patrolled the beach loooking for nesting turtles.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Spanish, cooking or science. I would like to improve my English, and continue to learn Portuguese (I am not practising now since here in USA I do not know any Portuguese speaker)
What I Can Share with Hosts
A home and a smile. I really hope they will feel comfortable and free to ask me whatever they need.
