I'm a 27 year old Belgian girl traveling the world since January 2017. I come from a very small village somewhere in the high mountains (approx. 213m / 698 ft) of Belgium.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe CS is an amazing way of seeing the inside of a place with the help of people who know it best, aka the local people.

I traveled in guesthouses and youth hostels most of time and I want to change the way I travel by sharing more with the people I encounter.

Una de las razones por las cuales estoy usando couchsurfing en Centroamérica es para practicar mi español. Una otra es que generalmente duermo en hostales pero no creo que es la mejor manera para conocer realmente a las personas. Me gustaría andar con otras personas que no son turistas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did a one month volunteering project in 2007 in Pamparomas, Peru, and came back ten years later
Studied abroad (Sherbrooke, QC, Canada) for 4 months
Quit my job at the end of December 2016 and started traveling on my own
Learned diving and got addicted to it
