About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I’m still looking for it, but trying to stay connected with my true self and the present is a good start.
I would really like to be more involved into environment preservation projects so I try to learn as much as I can in my everyday life by being involved in volunteering projects in my town.
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Belgium but always wanted to travel. For a few years now I also explore other ways of traveling through music, literature, spiritual practices like yoga, transe, shamanic ceremonies, dreams, but also traveling in my own country.
I'm also very concerned about my ecological impact so it's part of my routine to find better ways to live my life in this society, to make more conscious choices.
For a long time I called myself a photographer, but today I don't feel like it anymore, I would say that I'm a curious person who use the camera to explore, meet, discover. For that too, I try to find greener practices.
I love to ask questions, understand.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't know if I can do it, but I will try anyway.

Music, Movies, and Books
Authors : I read a lot. Novels, essays (spiritual, psychology, anthropology...) Harry Potter made my childhood, so everything related with magic will attract my interest immediately. Medieval novels like Bernard Tirtiaux. I read about shamanic practices, medecin men and women. Murakami. Anaïs Nin had a big part in my book history. Kerouak was the one who gave me this idea to get my driving license ans go on the road. Somoza is great. Auður Ava Ólafsdóttir is a good one as well. And too many I would like to read.
Music : Eivor, QOTSA, Loreena Mckennitt, Lisa Gerrard, Martha Tilston, But recently I'm 100% into Irish music : Lankum, Ye Vagabonds, Lisa O'neill, John Francis Flynn, Varo... I also like more ethnic music, with drums, spontaneous singing.
Movies : The Secret Garden, I can't count how many times I saw it.
Art & Photography : Egon Schiele, Robert Frank, Diane Arbus, Rothko, Le Caravage, Léon Spilliaert, Sally Mann, Sarah Moon, Françoise Huguier, Klimt, Anders Petersen...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
An evening in Rishikesh, India. We were going back at the hotel, and somewhere in the dark monks started to ring a bell and blow in a conch. All the dogs from the neighborhood came to howl on the music. They howl and played this music for 15 minutes, and I could see the moon in the sky. It was magical.
