About Me
ABOUT ME
Open-minded but shy at first, cheerful and very friendly, I'm dedicated to people and helping them is the one thing that makes me happy :D
I enjoy cooking for any occasion, special events or basic meals, just adding something to pour some spice in your life, a sparkling touch of whatever that will shines in your plate and in your eyes.
I also have a keen interest in beers, I like to taste them, analyze color, foam and smell. I'm always looking for new ones to try when tripping. But, at any rate, what I like the most is sharing one with a friend or whith anyone who would enjoy it as much as me !
PHILOSOPHY
If I can be useful then I'm worthy to live. If I can bring a little happiness to those who surround me then I need nothing more to be happy.
Lessons I've learned from the Maasaï people : first, smile, second, be yourself and in total, you will be free <3
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was host by Harish Ontha, in Yogyarkarta in july 2013
Harish is not only very welcoming but he is also highly generous and will make your stay in Jodja undorgettable.
He always do his best to make you feel confortable.
Need a refuel ? Try "kopi joss", its hot coal will fire your spirits before tasting different kinds of satay (dont cheat, eat them before he tells you what sort of meat it was :D)
Craving for Jodja's gudeg ? A whole street full of warungs proposing this delicious speciality, have no fear ! Harish knows where you can have the best.
Fancy some night activities ? How about a beercrawl with his friends ? Or a karaoke ? If you've never done it before, go for it ! This is your quarter of fame (besides, Harish is an incredible singer, he will make make up for you when difficult parts come up)
I had an marvelous time in Yogyakarta thanks to him, he picked to Borobudur and Prambanan.
Those sites are wonders where one senses the peaceful spirituality that inspired the builders.
This amazing part of Indonesia historical patrimony really worth all the bumpy roads of the world (remember that when you'll be cursing those damned paths from Prambanan to Borobudur at the back of Harish's super scooter, your bottom will hate you but your soul will cure your anger once you've reached the world biggest bouddhist temple)
Terima kasih Harish ! I hope that next time you'll be my diving instructor ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I swam in the Dead Sea (OK, not that exceptional but it was fun, salty but fun xD)
I tried durian : after overcoming the odor (which is really offensive >.<) I literally feel in love with its creamy yet firm texture, its sweet and sour taste. I had had to create an ersatz of Durian, I would mix together onion confit, sweetened chestnut purée and a french cheese called livarot for the fatty smooth part ! OK, it sounds weird actually but if you ever have the chance to taste fresh durian, don't hesitate !
