About Me
Okay, so... I have been a CS's member a long time ago.
Actually, I see that I've been on it since 2009, waouh, I was 19 at that time!
I've been hosting a few travellers when I was a student in Toulouse, France, then I couchsurfed myself on my first "big" trip to Australia in 2011!
Thank to couchsurfing I met a lot of good friends over there, (and lived also an amazing love story) !
After that I used couchsurfing in Asia and East-Europe during the years 2012-2013. I just loved too meet so many amazing and kind strangers who became friends...
At that time I loved hitchikking, I even wrote on my CS profile "staying on a road under the rain, the sun, for 2 minutes or 2 hours, waiting for the right car, the right person you'll meet, the right adventure... It's almost my religion, my meditation time :)) and it ends up with so many great unexpected adventures and some good friends! "
Then, I settled a bit in my home country: french Guiana... I came back to studies, I became a nurse. Time flies and no time for travel or CS :((
I was graduated in 2017 and I began to work at the local hospital. I came back to couchsurfing and hosted a few people passing by during their south-american trips...
In 2019 I travelled during 6 months in New-Zealand, best country ever! I was planning to couchsurf but actually didn't have the opportunity, I was always with my tent, and found places to stay everywhere without using the website.
In 2020, I became a mom as I get a beautiful baby named Sasha (it's a boy).
And now my baby's a big boy, 5 years old in january 2025...
I'm planning a long travel, 6 months, with my kid, btw i'm a single mom.
It'll be in 2025... I'll write about it later
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Thanks to that beautiful website, I met awesome friends, and lived great adventures.
Don't be afraid of strangers, they are your future best friends...
