About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring beautiful rural Australia and meeting its people, starting in Queensland, Victoria and now Tasmania.

ABOUT ME

Graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast (with lots of travels in between) before working as a journalist in regional Victoria for almost two years, I'm now looking forward to discovering Hobart and Tasmania.

PHILOSOPHY

"My chest is a canon that I've used to take aim and shoot my heart upon this world"
Shane Koyczan

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Munich, Germany in summer 2014. We stayed (with another French friend) with two hosts. An amazing experience, we ended up at a festival with our hosts, spent the following days chatting and hanging out and had a lot of fun!
In Australia - from Darwin to Adelaide, we got to meet some incredible people along the way, cooked dinner together, explored the city and Adelaide's well-reputed wineries together.

Interests

Journalism - I love writing and taking videos of my travels and to write about my adventures.
I also love horse riding, and I would like to discover a country on horseback one day.

Music, Movies, and Books

Psychological thrillers such as inception, the shining, Mr Nobody, Memento, the butterfly effect, shutter island, vanilla sky, Brazil... and also Limitless, Slumdog millionnaire, dance with wolves, Into the wild, le grand bleu, clockwork orange, the truman show... but also comedies, horror movies, adventures etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many of them. From skydiving in Spain to witnessing a Voodoo ceremony in Togo, a horse riding trek around the Auvergne volcanos...

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to teach French one day. I also really want to improve my (very basic) Spanish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Experiences, tips from a local's perspective, potentially a few words in their language?
And a dinner cooked by myself :)

Countries I’ve Visited
